Equipment

We understand that beekeeping can require equipment and tools aren't easily accessible to beginners. The club has tools and harvesting equipment available to members.

Community Support

Several times a year, our members do community outreach through interviews and public learning events to explain how important beekeeping is to the community. Our Volunteers are what keep us involved and engaged with the non-beekeepers around the area.

Annual dues are $5.00 per person with an additional $10 per person to checkout equipment.  Dues and fees are used for operating expenses, equipment maintenance and to help with our educational programs.

Educational Apiary Visits

We understand that beekeeping is a hands-on activity and we have an apiary for that.  Two or three times a year, we hold learning sessions so beekeepers can see and try maintenance duties discussed during our monthly meetings.

"I have a huge belief in the importance of bees, not just for their honey, which is a healing and delicious food, but the necessity of bee colonies that are vital to the health of the planet."
